Undeath - Tetris Concept

2024

“Metal bands love taking inspiration from Dark Souls and Bloodborne, and that’s great, but when will a death metal band write about the true depraved psychopath’s video game: TETRIS”

Sparked by a tweet, this unofficial design imagined what it might look like if death metal band Undeath embraced the chaos of Tetris. The design caught the attention of both the band and Decibel Magazine, and was briefly floated as a concept for the Metal & Beer Fest. Although unrealized, the design culminated in a physical, hand-knit gift delivered to the band during their Australian tour in 2024; a fan project turned fleeting moment of cultural crossover.

CITIZEN - IF YOU’RE LONELY

2024
Digital

A Y2K throwback reimagined through the lens of emotional nostalgia. This unofficial artwork fuses early-2000s mobile design with the raw intimacy of Citizen’s lyricism: a love letter to missed calls, teenage angst, and low-res longing.

Built entirely in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, without any 3D software.

2024
Digital

A satirical bootleg poster for a tour that would never have a chance. This unofficial design reimagines Californian punk Joyce Manor as the namesake of Australia’s most consistently horizontal politician, Barnaby Joyce.

End It Poster

2024
Digital

An unofficial poster imagining a show that never was. This design fuses Baltimore’s iconic Natty Boh mascot with Brisbane’s Mr Fourex, creating a playful cultural collision rooted in beer branding.

Let’s Go Mango

2021
Digital

A logotype-led identity for a fictional fruit brew. Let’s Go Mango pairs punchy, expressive typography with bold label variations designed to pop on the shelf. Two label variants use soft, orange and mango-yellow hues, evoking long afternoons, sticky hands, and the kind of good time that comes in a can.

Upon Loss Singles

2023
Digital

Two standalone graphics exploring themes of isolation and inner weight through type and silhouette. Designed around the dual singles from Upon Loss, each pair a bubbly, initally emotionally off, but tonally anxious, font with the stark figure of a lone person.

A home in stages

2024
Digital sketch and image manipulation.

Two illustrations of the same corner house in Strahan, Tasmania, based on a sketch originally drawn in 2021. Both reflect containment and the collapse that follows. One shows the home overlaid against burning red skies, framed in barbed wire, tense, closed off, holding something in. The second mirrors the first, revealing the internal breakdown of the house after a fire: buckled walls, exposed structure, still encircled by wire. Together, they trace the shape of damage, showing what is visible and what lingers after.

Pamela Vanderson

2021
Digital to vinyl die cut sticker

A fun, 70s-inspired retro logotype designed for a van named Pamela Vanderson, featuring bold swashes and soft curves in black and white; created as a custom sticker to bring the name to life on the road.
